Hare Krishna prabhujis and matajis. I have one question..I still don't follow all regulative principles(no illicit sex one) but want to follow and get purified.Can I hear Srimad Bhagawatam ?
Hare Krishna! Of course. It's required. This is how to become purified and get strength to overcome all the weaknesses and develop faith and transcendental knowledge, provided you associate with a bona fide sadhu. This association should be our only desirable goal and prayer because it will give you everything. It's nicely explained in Śrī Prema-vivarta of Jagadānanda Paṇḍita. ei-rūpe saṁsāra bhramite kona jana sādhu-saṅge nija-tattva avagata hana “While transmigrating from birth to birth in this material universe, if by chance the living entity comes into contact with a saintly person, he becomes aware of his true identity as a pure spiritual soul, the eternal servant of Kṛṣṇa.’ nija-tattva jāni āra saṁsāra na cāya kena vā bhajinu māyā kare hāya hāya “Enlightened by this knowledge, he desires material entanglement no longer, lamenting, “Alas! Why have I served this illusory material energy for so long?’ kende bole, ohe kṛṣṇa! āmi tava dāsa tomāra caraṇa chāḍi’ haila sarva-nāśa “He bitterly cries out, “Kṛṣṇa, my Lord, I am your eternal servant. Ever since I left the shelter of Your lotus feet, my life has been completely devastated.” kṛpā kari kṛṣṇa tāre chāḍāna saṁsāra kākuti kariyā kṛṣṇe ḍāke eka-bāra “Śrī Kṛṣṇa is so merciful that if anyone entreats Him earnestly, He immediately releases him from material entanglement.’ māyāke pichane rākhi’ kṛṣṇa-pāne cāya bhajite bhajite kṛṣṇa-pāda-padma pāya “When the jīva breaks away from māyā’s captivating spell and strives for attainment of Śrī Kṛṣṇa by rendering devotional service, he regains the supreme shelter of the Lord’s lotus feet.’ kṛṣṇa tāre dena nija-cic-chaktira bala māyā ākarṣaṇa chāḍe haiyā durbala “Śrī Kṛṣṇa fortifies him with His transcendental, internal potency, and this overbearing power of the Lord’s spiritual potency weakens māyā’s influence upon the living entity.’ sādhu-saṅge kṛṣṇa-nāma’-ei-mātra cāi saṁsāra jinite āra kona vastu nāi “The only desirable goal is to chant harināma in the association of pure and saintly devotees. This is the best and only way to conquer nescience.’

I am very very neophyte to Krishna / Goudiya philosophy..going to local ISKCOn temple and reading only HDG Srila Prabhupada books and following his lectures and also by happenstance I started following H.H Srimad Gour Govinda Goswami Maharaj here on youtube since last year.. So i only beg to ask whether any disciple of HH Swami Maharaj gives initiation or not in India 🙏🙏
Hare Krsna! First you have to be convinced and then convince Krsna that you really want to surrender unto Him. If Krsna is pleased with your sincerity, He will send you a bona fide guru. Please study Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja's book Pariprasna. Guru-tattva is very nicely explained there, it will help you to understand properly, how to get a bona fide guru. Yes. It's certainly fitting title for Srila Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja, although he personally wanted to be addressed as "Sri Srimad" and not more than that. "To take shelter of the lotus feet of the Lord means to take shelter of the pure devotees. The pure devotees, whose only business is serving the Lord, are honored by the names Prabhupāda and Viṣṇupāda, which indicate such devotees to be representatives of the lotus feet of the Lord." Srimad Bhagavatam 1.1.15
